This blog is inspired by Jennifer Fivelsdal's Wordless Wednesday Blog "I'm in the mood for lobster." Tonight as I checked out that blog post again, I decided that this woud make a great topic for a blog.

I would like to know what are you top Five most favorite Dishes?  

How Often Do you eat your faborite dishes?

Do you prepare your favorite dishes or do you have to go out to eat them?

1. Ackee & Codfish...Jamaica's National Dish

2. Curried Goat  with Rice & Peas

3.  Escovitch Fish (King Fish)

4.  Jerk Chicken

5.  Steak & Lobster

I just tried goat recently for the first time. It is not on my favorite list, but I liked it. I think I would have liked it better curried.

2. Chicken parm

3. Veal parm

4. My neighbor's home made tomato soup

5. My husband's gourment cheeseburgers

I eat these whenever I have the chance!

Thanks for your comment Scott...I have tried BBQ goat, I did not like it.  Curried goat is delicious.

Hi Liz, 

Thanks for your input.  I have tried eggplant...it is not my favorite; chicken parmesian is not bad.  Gourmet Burger is always good.  I usually leaveoff the Cheese.  New Mexico Green Chile and Guacamole on burger is is good.

Fred...I like Jumbo Shrimp from Your list but a great list nonetheless.

Wayne...Rainbow Trouts are great and so is baked potato.  I do not do much Ice Cream, but when I do...Hagen Daz Rum and Raisin is my choice

Oh Lloyd, five is not enough!  Since it's summer, I'll share my top 5 summer dishes:

1.  Gumbo

2.  Grilled steak accompanied by Cesar's salad and red wine

3.  Gazpacho

4.  Grilled salmon

5.  Avocado, lime, and jicama salad

Now I'm hungry.
