Not so Silent Sunday: Why Worry?

Great to see that that Hurricane Isaac has redirected itself back out in the Gulf Of Mexico. To all my friends in Florida and the other Coastal Regions...remember the the words of Bob Marley,"Don't Worry about a thing,,,Cause Everything, is gonna be all right."

Not so Silent Sunday: Why Worry?

It was a quiet Sunday today for real estate.  I guess people are occupied with storm and hurricane preparations which of course is a prudent thing to do.  Luckily, it now seems that Isaac is going to bypass our area right here on the West coast of Florida, just North of Tampa.  The latest models put the storm far out in the Gulf of Mexico and we are grateful for that.

So what to do on a Sunday that was not the best to spend outdoors with drizzling rain on and off?  I decided to go through old paperwork that had accumulated in boxes and free up some storage space.  Sifting through old records, pictures, and letters, I came across this little gem that I clipped from a newspaper a long time ago.  I thought it was cute and it puts things into perspective about so many things we are concerned about so I'm sharing it here with you:

Why Worry?

There are only two things to worry about:

Either you are well or you are sick.  If you are well, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about:

Either you get well or you die.  If you get well, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you die, there are only two things to worry about:

Either you will go to heaven to hell.  If you go to heaven, there's nothing to worry about.

But if you go to hell, you'll be so busy shaking hands with friends,

You won't have time to worry!

Still smiling..... Author unknown

I too spent the day in Florida indoors and monitoring the storms progress.  We have taken a beating today and are still hearing it even now pretty viciously.

Lloyd, thanks for the reblog. Our area got less than two inches of rain since Sunday, we are the lucky ones. Our thoughts are now with Louisiana and Mississippi.

Hi Kevin an Silvia,

Let's hope for the best for New Orleans.  Seems like they will be getting hit.  Hopefully it stays at Cat 1 or below
