Are Black Friday Sales Literally to Die For?

WALMART is A BAD EXAMPLE for what's good in America.  It's action has brought out the worst in its patrons

But, there is something wrong with a society in which for no good reason, someone would open fire on an unarmed civilian for no good reason.  Let's see,  did the shooting occur because the shooter was worried that the victim had an advantage over him?  Did he think he was going to lose his chance to get the discount?  It's too bad that there are people in our society who because of greed or plain lack of human decency, that would be this extreme.  That's too bad!

Are Black Friday Sales Literally to Die For?

By Michelle Carr Crowe, Silicon Valley guide and San Jose real estate agent

Two people were shot at the Apalachee Parkway WalMart in Tallahassee, Tenn. while fighting on Black Friday, November 23, 2012. The people weren’t fighting over a hot specialty sale item such as an iPad or a Wii U. Nope.

Tallahassee Police Department spokesman David Northway confirmed via the local ABC TV 27 affiliate, "On scene, officers located two victims who have suffered non-life threatening injuries and are currently being treated at a local hospital."

The fight was over a parking space.

The good news? Both people are still alive.

The bad news? It scared the WalMart staff badly enough they temporarily shut down the store, which prevented other shoppers from snagging any sale items for over an hour.

Aloha & God bless you,

Michelle

I agree. It has gotten so crazy what people will do to one another any more. Long line at the gas station, I will just cut in fromt of all those that have been patiently waiting, same at the stores. What happened to manners in this country?
