UNM Hospital to pay over $100 Million in Malpractice Lawsuit

Besides the weather, the most interesting piece of local news over the weekend was the story about the over $100 Million that The University of New Mexico Hospital will have to pay for malpractice lawsuit dating back to the 1990’s.

As reported by KOB TV-4, the above video covers the full story.  UNMH has already pay out $45 Million in malpractice claims since 1998.

Good Morning C. Lloyd Mckenzie,

Interesting article and great localism post. New Mexico sounds very desirable and a great place to call home. Keep up the good work. Have a nice week.

Hi Lloyd, wow, may be that is one of the reason why the  health care insurances are so expensive.

C LLoyd,

That is scary of some many points, New Mexico does not need this kind of press! I hope you have an awesome start to  your week!
