Gas Price Continues to trend Downward

As Christmas approaches, drivers across the nation notice a drop in the price at the pump.  It is refreshing to see that each day as you go to fill up, the price is lower than the day before.

Here in Albuquerque, we are seeing prices lower than the national average.  Here are the Gas Stations with the lowest price for gas in Albuquerque, New Mexico:

Costco – 1420 N. Renaissance NE: $2.88 per gallon

Sam’s Club – 1421 North Renaissance NE: $2.88 per gallon

7-Eleven – 3801 Central NE & Solano: $2.89 per gallon

Phillips 66 – 1660 Roy Avenue near I-25: $2.90 per gallon

Sam’s Club – 300 Eubank Blvd & Chico: $2.90 per gallon

If you would like to find the station with the lowest gas prices near you visit the Albuquerque Gas Prices website.

I haven't seen the gas prices below $3.17 around here in the North Florida area.  Hopefully the will come on down.

I have seen it as low as $2.97 here this week! It is LONG overdue that it goes below three dollars!!!! And that was at a HESS station, so Costco could well be cheaper here as well.

While many may concentrate on how this effects their auto gas prices, it also effects the cost of FUEL OIL which is very important this time of the year.

Hi Lloyd,

It is excellents news to most folks about the gasoline price dropping. Unfortunately prices always back up duriing the driving season beggining on the spring.

Thank you very much for the six comments you made on my various blogs. I really appreciate it.

Hi Lloyd -- your prices for gas are substantially lower than what I paid yesterday for regular unleaded 3.599 which I considered a bargain.

Thanks for your comment. New Mexico is one of the states that oil drilling is on the increase.
