What a Bizarre Super Bowl - Baltimore Ravens Defeat San Francisco 49ers!

It was a Super Bowl Like no other.  It had the drama, the intrigue, the fun and was an all around great game.  Thanks to Fred Griffen  for an excellent post.  Congratulation to the Baltimore Ravens!

This game had it all!  Head Coaches who are brothers, a Power Failure that had Conspiracy Theorists on the alert, a Momentum Shift that injected new life into the Game, a Half Time Show lauded by many and derided by others, emotionally moving Commercials, and a Linebacker who was hailed as a Christian hero by some and despised as a killer by others.

Everyone was on the edge of their seat until literally the last second!  Could the San Francisco 49ers come back from a First Half pounding to win the game?  What happened to the confidence and certainty that the Ravens had embraced before the Lights went Out?

It was one of the most amazing Superbowl games I've ever seen.  The 49ers almost pulled it off but no matter what, it was exciting.  Can't wait to see what they'll do next year.

I watched it and waited for the same 49'rs to come out and play that got to the super bowl.  I guess the Ravens got lucky they missed the plane.

49ers are always a 2nd half team... this game they just did not have enough in them to get it done. Great game overall.

Even though I didn't have a horse in the race, it was still great to watch. As was pointed out, there was a little bit of everything. Congratulations to both teams!

And lots of people blaming Beyonce for the power outage! On my way to the office, the radio DJ advised that she carried her own generator and she was not to blame. It was a great Super Bowl for sure! Colder weather location next year, will make for an interesting game!

Hi Lloyd - and as I read yesterday - the most watched Super Bowl ever.    It did seem to have a lot of appeal even to the non-sports enthusiast with an almost soap opera spin to the whole day --- murder, sibling rivalry,  controversy and sex.
