After Watching The Weather I Have No Complaints

Old Man WinterAfter watching the national weather tonight and seeing what our friends in the North East will be enduring this weekend I no complaints about our Albuquerque weather.

We’ve enjoyed a beautiful week.  In fact Thursday I mowed the lawn and cleaned up leaves from our yard and both neighbors.  But the weather is changing and quickly.  Here it is Friday night and the wind is howling and the temperature is dropping as a cold front sweeps through New Mexico.

This weekend we will have high winds, blowing dust with our highs just 40 degrees.  Snow is expected in the Northern portion of the state and likely here in Albuquerque as well but nothing like the NE part of the country.  I will not complain but instead grateful we are not being pounded by Mother Natures wrath.  We wish all those being affected to be prepared and stay safe!

C. Lloyd, thank for sharing John's blog post, I guess in the South we should be counting our blessing also we have had beautiful weather in Austin, I even mowed and started prepping our garden for spring. Some of the apple trees are even getting flowers and I saw a couple of bees farming.

Lloyd... Thanks for the re-blog... as you know I take re-post as an honor and compliment.  The winds are arriving right on schedule for the day. I hate that so many Albuquerque events are happening on such a windy day.  Oh well..... we bundle up and head out anyway.  Have a great weekend in all you do my friend.
