Eight Arrested at Sobriety Checkpoint

Eight Arrested at Sobriety Checkpoint

The Albuquerque Police Department does an excellent job on a regular basis in regards to their Sobriety Checkpoints.

Last night they held one such checkpoint, which netted 8 arrests and the seizure of two vehicles. If you are a motorist operating a vehicle on any New Mexico Roads, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

I'm amazed that this message - don't drink and drive - is still needed.  Even knowlng the harsh penalties, IF CAUGHT, it continues.  I suppose that the alcholics simply rationalize their actions.
