It’s time to get off the Albuquerque Roads

As we experience this horrible snowstorm, it has dawned on me that there are many people who just do not understand.  Now is not the time for them to be out on the roads.  Unless you have an emergency, you really ought to stay inside.  The KOV TV Traffic Alert has reported quite a few accidents across the city. Road conditions are so bad, there is a very high likelihood that you will get in an accident if you are driving.

Hi Lloyd -- if weather conditions are this serious, it is good advice to stay off the roads -- be safe.

My parents retired to live in Roswell and frankly I have been in New Mexico when there was snow on the ground and most folks have no idea how to drive in winter weather. Of course it is no differnt here in Katy/Houston ( maybe worst). Good advice to stay off the roads and wait the storm out.
